She is standing on the edge of the cliff, grabbing the star. The star represents cherished dreams and goals. The cliff represents all those fears and doubts about pursuing those dreams - the fear of failing or maybe the fear of success.
I wanted to capture the tension of standing on that edge and the struggle within of pursuing a dream. If she keeps her focus on the star and not look down at all the fears, she can have her dream.
I put 'combat' boots on her because it has been one heck of a journey and she needed strong boots of 'determination' for the climb.
