After surviving the
war, the hateful
condemnation by the
public towards the
returning veterans,
poor health care and,
now, sleeping on a
park bench, this man
still holds the flag with
pride remembering
what he thought it
used to stand for.
What we still want it
to stand for. Is it too
late to save it?

We like this but not this, etc. The whole process seems so overwhelming sometimes we feel like tossing our hands in the air and rolling the dice to choose. Then when the decision is made ‘Oh no’ is our first reaction to what we just did.
